Incredible response from everyone, with the new committee already strongly progressing things forwards to benefit the whole community. Workwear urgently needed, we are seeking our volunteers to all have safe personal matching workwear
If you are, or know if a local company who can assist us with workwear, please let us know. As a non-profit going for charitable status we are looking for a good cost, or reduced rates. Twice daily street welfare checks 7 days/emergency outreach. Plus 2 evening sessions outreach.
Street Friends are now able to offer 7 days a week assistance, signposting, initial befriending, as well as food, drinks & care packages. Currently seeing 4-500 people per week. It has taken a lot of doing, we thank all our volunteers for committing to these extra requirements. It is though enabling 7 days a week, every week, every holiday cover and assistance to those most in need. We do of course still need help. We can ONLY accept safe options such as donations through

Bradley and team fundraiser raises a staggering amount for Street Friends & Men Matter Scotland
Had a lovely chat with Bradley today who was pleased to announce that £1,363.33 will be the Street Friend helping the homeless half of the fundraiser. Which is an incredible help towards almost every item, for one full frontline emergency evening outreach. To put this in perspective, we will be taking some photos this weekend purchasing all the items from a local cash & carry safely. With having already lost Pret, we are now about to lose Greggs as well. These are 2 of our largest long term benefactors. This puts us in a tight bind. In immediate response we have returned to our landlord, who we started working with in September. Signing the first licence in October 2020 for storage only premises. Dr. Vivian Chiahua Tu, Psychotherapist / Counsellor contacted our secretary 3 months ago, regarding a possible community grant. This was through Arnold Clark Toyota, Aberdeen.
