The relaunch has really started going from strength to strength.
Now officially links with ACVO the main volunteering presence, we have improved on all aspects of our delivery.
We hold full insurance for both our attendees and Volunteers with Keegan & Pennykid Insurance brokers.
We now have a full volunteering pathway, to allow everyone to make a start and move towards running things correctly.
Now registered with Aberdeen Council as well, we were informed that by doing this we are operating within legal parameters.
ACVO and Inchgarth Paul O'Connor MBE, have offered us advice and assistance along with Aberdeen Cyrenians, Alcohol & Drugs Action, Cfine/SAFE team, and so much more, we cannot thank people enough - it is so refreshing to be the primary outreach for the area with the full support and advice of simply the very best in their fields. We will always be here for those in need, but our goal is always to end homelessness, for those who are ready to move on via skilled experts.
We are street friends, with new attendees we can now take 15/20 minutes befriending socially distanced, respecting Phase 3 offering 'safe choices' when they are ready to move on. We are now directly linked with around 20 specialist charities/groups/services who can offer the expert advice which may be required.
