Proactive response from the lovely team at Cornhill Hospital. Incredible!

We are delighted to hear that a donations box has been started by the lovely Shona, at Royal Cornhill hospital, Aberdeen. This is such a great idea, and a way of everyone being able to donate what they can manage.

We are always in need of donations, this is a brilliant way to do it. We never expect people to provide every single item we need, but we often get apologies such as, sorry its not that much. Every single item helps, and we are very grateful for them all.

By doing it this way, it enables several colleagues, friends, family - whatever the situation to pop items into it, without feeling guilty. Which as mentioned please know we always are thankful for any donation needed. If you start your own box, let us know by joining the website or email admin@streetfriendshelpingthehomeless.com

Great Idea Shona, thank you so much and will update this post when we know more. Until then a HUGE shout out and thanks to all of your there, we acknowledge how incredibly hard you work, especially within the current restrictions, so are humbled to be helped by you. This will allow us to directly help those most in need #homeless #vulnerable #povertystricken as our numbers continue to rise. #communityspirit #covid19 #kindness
