The response is a great start, to our being able to keep helping those most in need. Almost immediately, people have acknowledged our need to adhere strictly, to the tier 4 restrictions. Following the cessation of donations in person, to our storage only facility in King Street. Instead we have received our first batch of Amazon deliveries, hopefully with more on their way.
These are our only options. This ensures everyone stays safe. Keep your friends, loved ones safe, as well as those most in need too.
Here are some which I received today, photos of some of the tags and a huge thank you to you all for beginning this process. We still have a long way to go, but we look set to be able to continue in the short term, hopefully things will continue picking up. I had to leave to sort other things, but also to allow other volunteers into the storage, as we now have a very small limited number, even though it is a large space.
Also in the process of creating some goodie bags with flyers for the new years day special 1st Jan 2021, 11am to 3pm. This is a full frontline emergency welfare service outreach, with care packages, hot meals from La Lombarda Restaurant as well as some lovely hot fresh rolls from the incredible Andrea & Gary, Denmore Guest House.
We look forward to also seeing you tonight, Weds, for our full tier 4 Facts safe outreach at 6.30pm. With hot food from Aberdeen Muslims, care packages, kindness and much more. Thank you for allowing us to continue in this new, safe, manner.
Thanks to Rapid Print & promotions plus Eclipz, using last of the flyers from their donation!
